Swell Summary
Current long-period south-southwest swell will continue to slowly decline through Friday. A small pulse out of the south-southwest should help maintain some rideable surf along south facing shores over the weekend. A small northwest swell is also expected to fill in on Saturday and peak late Saturday into Sunday morning with surf heights near the April average. Looking out to next week, a moderate south- southwest is expected during the second half of the week with surf heights peaking above the summer average on Thursday. Another similar northwest swell is also expected around Thursday of next week.
NORTH SHORE
Surf: Stomach to shoulder high NNE short period wind swell in the morning builds in the afternoon with occasional sets up to head high.
Conditions: Choppy/disorganized with NE winds 20-25mph in the morning decreasing to 15-20mph in the afternoon.
SOUTH SHORE
Surf: Small scale (ankle to knee high) surf.
Conditions: Semi clean/textured with NNE winds 25-30mph in the morning decreasing to 20-25mph in the afternoon.
WEST SIDE
Surf: Waist to stomach high NNE short period wind swell with occasional chest high sets.
Conditions: Fairly clean in the morning with NE winds 20-25mph. Clean conditions for the afternoon as the winds lighten to 15-20mph.
